Last night I was at the Taschen book release #party for #RichardKern ‘s latest #Shot By Kern I have always been inspired by his work, and I like that he signed my copy ‘From Artist to Artist’ Even if you are not familiar with his #photography …you know his work. Richard has been ripped off, copied and imitated by almost everyone ( cough cough you know who you are #americanapparel et al). If you like supporting true artists I highly recommend picking up a copy of this #book or any of his others.

It was cool to find out that the city has renamed a city park that he used to play in as a kid in his honor. I haven’t been there yet but will probably check it out this weekend. I took this photograph back in 2004…still gives me goosebumps thinking about.
